KOPPARBERG LAUNCH THE ‘SUPER TROUPER’

SWEDEN AND KOPPARBERG LAUNCH THE ‘SUPER TROUPER’ TO MARK THE 40 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ABBA IN AUSTRALIA

AN EPIC EVENT CELEBRATING 40 YEARS SINCE ABBA’S TOUCHDOWN IN AUSTRALIA FOR THEIR 1977 WORLD TOUR – THE ARC CINEMA, THE ADANTE ADANTE CHOIR, THE ABBA MUSEUM STOCKHOLM AND THE SWEDISH EMBASSY RE-INTRODUCED THE SPECIAL SCREENING OF ABBA : THE MOVIE AT THE NATIONAL FILM & SOUND ARCHIVE OF AUSTRALIA.

At the beginning of March 2017, and to mark the 40 year anniversary of ABBA’s Australian Tour, Kopparberg Australia served cocktails in the tasting courtyard of the NFSAA and introduced the ‘Super Trouper’ for all attending guests. The cocktail was officially a success and we have been asked several times for the recipe. Here it is again, Cheers or as we say in Sweden…Skål!

THE SUPER TROUPER

A brief, refreshing drink with an easy floral finish topped with our Kopparberg Elder & Lime. First presented to the Swedish Ambassador at the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra earlier this year to mark the 40 year anniversary of ABBA mania the movie filmed in Australia. A sparkling drink with a sweet and fresh taste, perfect as a welcome drink for the party.

RECIPE

200ml Kopparberg Elderflower & Lime Cider
15ml Gin
Lashings of Crushed Ice
Splash of Tonic Water

GARNISH – Cucumber wheel

GLASS – Cocktail Glass or Champagne Saucer

Pour Gin over crushed ice, Fill with delicious Kopparberg Elderflower & Lime cider, add a splash of tonic water. Garnish with cucumber wheels to further enhance the fruit finish, and enjoy responsibly.
